can't install GBpvr

I'm trying to install the latest version of GBPVR but I keep coming up with two errors. One says the following:
Internal Error 2908
{A31FFC4C-7A78-4B48-B816-571BE429ECB9}

The other error is this:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'wmppia, Version="9.0.0.3095",Culture="neutral",PublicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35",GUID="6bf52a50-394a-11d3-b153-00c04f79faa6", Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80131047.

I'd appreciate any help getting it up and running.

yes, I do have net 1.1 installed.

You may need to update the version of Windows Media Player on your machine.

I too had this problem, after I downloaded the .Net 1.1 SDK from Mickey$oft. I then removed it and installed the version that came with the Pinnacle MediaPlayer software and then the installation worked okay. It looks as though there may be a change in the current .Net 1.1 SDK that is incompatable with GBPVR,

I updated Windows Media Player and tried re-installing .net 1.1, but I can't get it to work and I can't find an old verison of .Net. Any other suggestions?

I try to reconstruct my memory and I'm quite sure that I had the same problem, re-installing .Net1.1 didn't help. I did a fresh windows install and everything went fine. Sorry I don't have better news for you:o

i uninstalled net 2.0 and then re-installed it and that did the trick. I can't get the zap2it epg to update though. it says the source settings are incorrect.
