This started in 0.96.08 and still occurs in 0.96.12 but I didn't get a chance to do much testing before now.

When I have any Deinterlace setting under Live TV except None I can only watch Live TV once after the gui (gbpvr.exe) is started. Exiting Live TV and starting it again results in a blank screen and no sound. If I shutdown the gui (gbpvr.exe) and restart it I can watch Live TV again, once. If Deinterlace under Live TV is set to None I can watch and exit Live TV as often as I like.

I have attached copies of the log and lastgraph files from a few tests. In each case the first openeing of Live TV in the log works, all subsequent trys fail. If there is something else I can test let me know.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. I cant see anything in the logs (unexpected directshow filters etc).

If you try with a different set of audio/video decoders, does it do the same thing?

I have been playing with it some more today and it seems to be an issue with the Intervideo decoder. The one I am using is not the one that comes with the hauppauge wintv drivers, it is a later version. I am going to leave it as None for now. I am going to get a new video card that can so the inverse telecine with the nvidia purevideo decoder and that will solve it once and for all.

Thanks for looking at it for me anyway, now go play with your new kid. Big Grin
