I changed my Irremote.ini file so that the FUNC key is mapped to ctrl-I rather than ctrl-o so i can use that key to maximise visualisations in MusicLibrary2.

I simply editted the file under the GBPVR section of the file... however this change doesent work.

What else would i need to consider to change a key mapping, i must be missing something?

Did you activate the "direct access to the Hauppauge remote" on the last tabpage in the config utility? If so GBPVR takes the commands from the remote directly without going trough the Irremote app from Hauppauge. Just disable this setting and make sure yr Hauppauge Irremote app is running.

Thats probably it, i dont have the IRremote app running, and probably do have 'direct access..' selected.

I use a USB-UIRT though is my PVR-350 dongle wont work with a PVR-150MCE!

would i still be able to use the USB-UIRT through the Irremote app and irremote.ini if i turn off 'direct access...'?

Is there another way of editing the key definitions in GBPVR if it doesnt use Irremote.ini?
