************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

I'm guessing Sub would say something along the lines of :-

"If you google for "Process performance counter is disabled" you'll find a solution to fix this. A few people have had it in the past."

You might have to create the registry key, or keep looking at more results in google. This isnt a GB-PVR bug, but rather a normal setting missing from your machine.

ah, i found this and it is now updating, corrupted perfc009.dat. file i think, not there yet though!

thanks

'13.5 VisualCron error: Missing system file perfc009.dat

The error behind this message is: System.InvalidOperationException: Process performance counter is disabled, so the requested operation cannot be performed.

Probably has a third party application deleted an important systemfile called perfc009.dat. Just download it from here and extract with WinZip it to your system32 directory (normally "C:\windows\system32\"), then start VisualCron again. Also, check that you have read access to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT \CurrentVersion\Perflib\009 (thanks Chang).'

Do you have BDA drivers installed for this device?

I'm not sure about the Nova USB2, but I know the PCI version of the Nova-T originally came with proprietary drivers which didnt work with GB-PVR. Later they supplied BDA drivers, which you need to be using for GB-PVR.
