Hi,

My installation has been working great for several weeks now. I am now getting the following when trying to update the guide.

I am suspecting, there may be some chars that the program doesn't like but i don't know any way to troubleshoot this.

Hopefully someone has the answer.
Thanks
Stephane

Can you try clicking the OK button in the config, then see if it shrinks?

Hi Sub,

Any way to do this automatically? I just looked at mine and it was over a gig. I don't reboot or mess with the GBPVR PC much unless I upgrade or something so it's not often I go into config for any reason.

This is what I'm doing, and its been working great for several weeks now.
But I don't think this would work with more than one tuner.

Code:
ParallelProcessing.bat
C:
cd "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr"
echo %date% %time% >REC.REC
comskip %1

Code:
PostProcessing.bat
C:
cd "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr"
del REC.REC

Code:
PostUpdateEPG.bat
C:
cd "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr"
TimeOut 3600
if not exist "REC.REC" gbpvr_Compact.exe >Compact.log

GBPVR_Compact is here.

timeout.exe is here.

It does try to do it automatically after the nightly EPG update, but it can only succeed if there are no connections to the GBPVR.MDB database. If you're using any utilities or plugins, these may be holding connections to the database, stopping the compaction from occurring.

There will be some more options in the next release.
