This is really a media player classic problem but I thought maybe someone here might know the solution to it.

I use a standard tv as a second monitor for gbpvr and it works great. By that I mean no skipped frames. When I use MPC, though, it skips a ton of frames if I put it on fullscreen (not so much if kept original size). I am playing the same exact video with both. Does anyone know what may be causing the frames to be skipped in MPC?

you are probably using different filters, most likely the one used in gbpvr is either not deinterlacing or using force-weave, whereas the MPC filter is using force-bob or automatic, which doubles the framerate and will cause dropped frames on a tv which is physically limited to 29.976 frames per second.
