I'm sure you know the BBC are doing and HD DVB-T trial in London [Crystal Palace] this summer, the mux has been on air for a few weeks and now we're just waiting for some A/V streams! There are plenty of H.264 software decoders available but other BDA based programs like DVBViewer and DC-DVB Source have both needed slight modifications to use them, [something to do with setting the right MediaType so the Video Pin will connect to the Demux output], and I am hoping GB-PVR can be tweaked in the same way? If so is there any chance this could be included in the next release so we can use GB-PVR to watch the BBC trail? Keep an eye on this thread for info on the BBC trail:

I do intend to support this, but I would need to make a few changes. When they start transmitting, someone can record a transport stream and send it over to me.

That's great news! Smile I'm not in Crystal Palace myself but someone has promised to send me some transport stream samples so I'd be happy to forward them to you. In the mean time I have some streams from the French DVB-T H.264 tests and some satellite stuff if they are any use to you? Keep up the good work mate,

Cheers,

I do already have some H.264 test files from Estonia, but I havnt had a chance to look at it yet. I'd be happy to take you up on the offer of the Frech transport stream files aswell.

Do you have a way I can download this? Ideally a 100MB chunk would be very useful. PM me.

I'll upload all the French samples I've got tonight and PM you the links, there are lots of people keeping an eye on the BBC HD mux for me so as soon as there's any thing up there I'll send it over.

There is a small TS sample here:

http://www.fordrs.nildram.co.uk/BBCHD1-DigiTV-2.ts

I should be getting a larger TS dump later tonight, I'll post the link when I've got it.

There are some small program stream samples here:

The MainConcept/Elecard and Cyberlink AVC decoders play them ok but the faster decoders like CoreAVC do not support MBAFF interlace mode yet Sad
