When I first installed GBPVR, the search guide screen was fully populated. But the next day, it was (and still remains) completely empty. The indexing letters (A-Z) appear on the left of the screen, but when I click on any letter, I get no matches in the main pane. Also, my 2 episodes of South Park that I recorded on the first day do not appear in the shows list. The mpeg files are there in a folder called "South Park", and yes, I have checked the obvious to make sure the recorded directory points to the right place. What would cause GBPVR to lose the recorded shows list as well as the search guide list?

One reason gbpvr "loses" recorded shows is that it has lost contact with the recordings' folder. Is it on a network path? Or did you move it?

No, it is on the same machine, just a different drive. I recorded 2 more shows last night, and they now show up on the list. Theses shows are in the SAME root folder as the 2 South Park episodes and yet GBPVR does not show the recorded South Park episodes in the Recorded list. Weird.

Update: I've figured out the Guide Indexing issue.

If gbpvr for some reason has "lost" the recordings, they will not show up again. GBPVR only uses the information in its database for showing which recordings exist. If a recording is removed from it's folder, it is permanently deleted from the database and hence will not show up again in the interface. Hope I make sense...
