ESC/ Back not working?

Hi,
I just noticed that the ESC key (keyboard) and the BACK button (on remote) are no longer working. I used to be able to hit ESC or back to return to the main menu. Now when I hit this button, nothing happens. When I run 'ShowKey.exe', it doen't register the ESC key when I press it.
Any ideas on what I can do to get this key function back?
I'm running v96.12 w/ BlueMCE2 on WinXP.

This happens on my keyboard and on the remote. The other keyboard keys work. Also, the other remote functions work fine too. (ie. up, down, enter, skip forward, etc). It just seems that something's filtering out the ESC key to GBPVR. When I run the program 'ShowKeys.exe', it displays all my keystrokes, except for the ESC key. Any ideas?

I think I had this problem too, what I did was to set the "video inset" setting in config.xml to false. Unfortunately I'm not near my PVR at the moment and can't recall the exact name of the setting.

I also can't remember what led me to find the fix either, but it was something in this forum. I think I asked the same qeustion as you, actually. Try a forum search for the same thing, maybe?
