strange skipping in recorded TV

I was watching a 1/2 hour program (recorded with my Hauppauge 150). the end time seemed fine at 28:26, however, at about 5 minutes in, it just skipped forward by about 2 minutes. If I hit rewind to the same spot, it would then skip again, but to a different spot. This hppened for as many times as I went back to the initial skip point. It would always skip to a different point. However, that's the only place where it happened. I was able to watch the program to the end without further problems.

Any ideas?
