Trying to fall back to 96.12 - GBPVR does not work

I was running 96.12. I probably should have left well enough alone. But I upgraded to 97.7. Comskip quit working. (I installed the fix.). Also, the menu would lock up. I would not be able to navigate on the TV. So I uninstalled 97.7 and reinstalled 96.12. Now config.exe gives an error and will not start. GBPVR and the media server will not start as well. I am not concerned about saving my database and config.xml file. I wouldl be glad just to start fresh. What needs to be cleared out in addition to uninstalling the product. I am installling in new directories so there is nothing left over.
