Failure playing back mpeg file

When I run GBPVR on my PC I can't play back any of the mpeg2 files recorded via the current (0.97.9) or previous versions. This always worked fine untill I upgraded to v0.97.7 and the subsequent upgrade to v0.97.9 didn't fix it.

I simply get the message "Error: Failure playing back file".

I'm running windows 2k sp4 and using a PVR350. I also use a Media MVP and playing back through this is fine.

I would try another video renderer setting. VMR9 instead of custom e.g.
Or change the video-decoder, or audiodecoder/renderer

Thanks - changing from VMR9 Custom to VMR9 did the trick.
