How to roll back from 1.4.7 to 1.2.13?

I've looked all over the site and cannot find an answer to this question. Currently I am running Windows 7 64bit Professional with GBPVR v1.4.7 along with MediaMVP as the front-end.

Given my version of OS, is a downgrade to 1.2.13 possible?

And if so what would be the best way to go about doing this?

I suspect it would be the same procedure as upgrading.

Why would you want to roll back to an earlier version?

Thank you very much for your reply. I am looking to rollback primarily because of plugin compatibility.

Plugins such as BurnDVDX2 (an absolute must for me) and ChannelLogoTool were not compatible with 1.4.7 when I check the Wiki. Unless I'm mistaken and the GBPVR versions are backward compatible, but I am not sure.

I think the wiki has to be updated by indivudual users to says if it's comptaible - if it's not in that list it doesn't mean it's not compatible. ( i can't remember if I tried burndvdX2 with that version of gbpvr)

Also, to roll back, you must have a backup of your GBPVR.db3 & config.xml (as there can be database structure changes etc between versions)

They were not listed as compatible with 1.4.7 and I really wasn't wanting to create a headache for myself or delve to much further without asking you guys.

I did manage to install burndvdX2 and it is working just fine. The only issues was that when I first installed it and went to the application and then tried to exit the burndvdX2 application is threw an exception about not being able to write to the .ini file. But after changing the permissions, everything works just fine now. Thank you.

Note: I'm not sure about how the Wiki works either, but if you need me to do anything or need any extra info I'lll be glad to help.

I updated the wiki entry show it runs with 1.4.7.
