SkyStar2 Recorder Plugin work with Airstar HD5000?

Is the Airstar HD5000 close enough in technology to the Skystar2 to work with the SkyStar2 recording plugin? The open-source SDK available from Technisat seems to be the same regardless of which card one has. The company claims that they are going to release a BDA driver "soon". Don't know how "soon" that will be, given that they claimed that in April.

No- I'm afraid it won't work. The SS2Recorder plugin was indeed developed with the Technisat SDK, but only implements satellite tuning.
