Hi

I've just upgraded to 97.9 and run into a couple of problems

Firstly sometimes when I select a channel thourgh the tv guide or go to Live tv directly I get a screen with a no signal detected message. If i change channels to find one that works and then go back to the channel I was originally after then it all works fine. We don't normally have signal problems so i don't think its an aerial problem.

I have attached the log from an occurance of the problem.

Secondly sometimes when watching a recording the video will freeze and stop and the audio continues. I've only encountered this on Channel 4 recordings and not always. It seemms to occur at the end of the first ad break. I am using comskip but I didn't think that actually changed the video file. i've tried watching the video in WMP but have the same problem

I've attached logs for both problems

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Is it worth trying one of the others? Its odd that it works sometimes and not others

To be honest, I'm not really sure what to suggest. Its not a common problem.

Maybe you have marginal reception, causing it to lose the signal lock?

Crazy

Are you using Purevideo? I read on hauppauge UK forum thread about purevideo/hauppauge and channel 4/E4 problems.
