Good day there guys and gals. I am a newbie here and have a problem. The first problem is that I'm not a computer qiz or anything so this whole PVR thing is a challenge for sure.
Anyway, I have my system set up and have installed GBPVR and have it almost up and running, it's the almost part that's killing me. I have my tv channels working now (pretty happy about that) but I have sound and no video. I did a search and didn't find anything on it but I'm sure it's gotta be out there.
Please, please help me.

You probably didnt install an MPEG2 decoder.

Possibly using the wrong wrong video renderer. Mine defaulted to VRM9 Custom Renderer when I upgraded to the latest rev. Black screen. Changed to VRM9 and all was well.
