In an attempt to save myself some trial and error time is anyone using the same dongle.bin successfully on rev D3, rev E3 and rev H3 (not wireless) MVP's ? If so, which version ?

I have a D3A MVP and have used the default dongle.bin from 0.97.9 and also the newer dongle-3.0.24088.bin.

They both work the same for me as far as I can tell. Cool

D3A MVP + 3.0.24088.bin.
Some (most? if they posted back) have had success with H3 MVP and Dongle_25_24023b.bin
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=44
One from that thread used 3.2.24125b on a H3.

As mentioned above I got a rev H3 to work with dongle version 3.2.24125b, but I "downgraded" to 3.2.24110b because in the 125 version Hauppauge have introduced some sort of locked OSD image when you are viewing files from the video library. This overlay image is not present in the 110 version and it is working fine for me now.

I have a D3A that was working fine with the default dongle but now refuses to connect. I'm not exactly sure when it stopped working but I think it was working up to 97.9?

Anyway, I'm now running 97.13 and it's not connecting (Contacting DHCP ... message). The device just sits there quietly mocking me  .

Which dongle flavor should I be using for D3A?
Where do I download the different dongle versions from?

All the different dongles are working for me with 97.13 The standard dongle.bin seems to be the most stable. I regret to say that though gbmvp.bin seems to have good quality it is the most unstable, and it does give quite a bit of flicker on screen especially with the ContourHC skin.
Some dongles can be found at ftp://ftp.hauppauge.com/Support/MediaMVP/, or from the latest release of the MVP software http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...iamvp.html

I have a D3A. I use 3.0.24088. I sent you a PM with a link to a stash of dongles.
