Everytime I "Exit" GBPVR the program closes, but I get this error message.

Any ideas where I should look for?

Please understand that I am a complete noob with anything video related. I bought the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 (non-mce) 3 days ago, found out about the immense power of GB-PVR yesterday, and spent about 4 hours just to get the power button working (tweaking the irremote.ini file).

I love fixing things... I just don't know what to look for!

Thanks

zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Is there any error listed in your Windows Event Viewer?

Windows Event Viewer displays : Service stopped succesfully.
Here's the 2 log files that I see are being created when exiting.

Are you sure thats the right log? It only covers a 5 second period showing GB-PVR starting up.

Do you always get this message, regardless of how long GB-PVR has been running?

Yes I always get the error message.
I thought maybe its related to my using the Aston Shell instead of default explorer.exe, but I also tried under regular explorer.exe and it still does it.

And like I said, when I exit GBPVR, I take a close look at the GBPVR folder and these are the only 2 log files being created / modified.

Well it's not a big problem anyway. It's strange, but I can live with that.

Thanx!

Wait a second...
I was reading another topic, and this guy said "if you don't use the 'direct access to hauppauge'-settings you can edit irremote.ini"

So i went back into config, unticked direct access, and now my error message is gone!

The 'direct access to hauppauge remote' setting is only compatible with the PVR250 and PVR350, which probably explains why you were getting bizarre unexpected behaviour.
