Half the time I am ending up with zero length files. I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be greatly apreciated

This is usually a sign of the capture device sharing the IRQ with another device. This can cause the drivers to stop receiving MPEG2 data. This can result in files that stop prematurely or files that are zero bytes long.

You can see if its sharing an IRQ in the control panel -> administrative tools -> device manager.

You can try changing PCI slots and hope the motherboard allocates it another IRQ, otherwise use google to try and find a way to change the IRQ its using.

I've reinstalled the Wintv scheduler and that seems to cleared up the problem. I don't understand it, but it is working.

Thank you for your suggestions and help
