I've been told that I may be able to get a few DVB channels (UK Freeview) where I live in the near future. Currently a bit of a 'dead spot'.

So, how can I get GBPVR (or another app) to scan for avaiable channels, just like a set top box would?

If it makes a difference I have a Hauppage Nova-t DVB card.

Setup a capture source, BDA Recording plugin with Nova-T selected, set the EPG Source to DVB EPG, then click the 'map digital channels to EPG channels' button and it'll start scanning.

As always, many thanks sub.

Edit: Scan went well, signal occasionally drops but got around 40 more channels now Smile

I find my Nova-T cards need a very strong signal, try putting an aerial booster in the line. I am in a very good signal area but without the booster the DVB stream breaks up on at least one tuner.
