Guide updates?

Is it possible to retrieve the guide updates manually?

My situation:

Home is dial-up and only that (I live in the countryside - no high speed). Normally once a week I connect and retrieve the updated guide). Lately it's been extremely slow and most times not taking the guide update at all.

Work has high speed and I was hoping to manually retrieve the guide and save on a USB flash key and then transfer to home (faster and hoepfully less painful).

Is this possible?

Yes you can, but you need to be using xmltv instead of zap2it.
