I run GBPVR on a W2003 server and have the recordings directory as an UNC path. Whenever I lose network connection (a quick router reset is sufficient) GBPVR empties its database. This is due to W2003 not seeing its local network shares any longer when it sees no active network connection.

Has anyone an idea which windows setting (probably a security setting) can change this.

I have a second GBPVR "server" install on a standard XP machine and here this does not happen: after unplugging the network cable the local shares remain available.
Regards Koen,

By default GB-PVR assumes that if it cant find a recording at the location listed in the database, then the user has probably manually deleted the video file. It then deletes the recordings from the database.

If you dont like this behaviour, or it doesnt work well for you in your setup, then you can set <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> in config.xml
