Only a couple of bug fixes. Major highlight from this release is the removal of UltraID3 library (an external dll that was shared with myMusic and myVideos).

Thanks for the new version and the bug fixes.

A few comments and questions:

Removed UltraID3 library support ... By doing this, currently album art stored in the MP3 tags will not work until I come up with another solution

It appears that the "Genre" is not being read from the MP3 tags. I now have all sorts of genres listed that are definitely not stored in either my ID3 ver1 or ver2 tags. If they are stored there somehow, then the utility program "ID3 - Tag It" (which has always been very reliable for me) is not showing this data in either version of the tag.

The new expanded list of genres appearing in your new rev is showing about 30+ genres wherein I only have 8 genres coded into my MP3's .. and, my previously installed version of ML2 (v3.3, maybe 3.7) only showed me those 8.

This is an issue for me as I like to keep my list of genres real simple, based on how I classify the music, not based on how the artist or recording company classifies it.

Added ability to re-read the tags in the media detail screen (Ctrl-K)

Ctrl-K does appear to re-read something as the Bitrate and Size data refreshed, but it is still not changing the genre.

If you need an example, I have a Christmas MP3 track from the Dixie Chicks titled "Christmas Swing" from an album titled "Home on the Radar Range". Viewing the tag info using "ID3 -Tag It", my ver2 tag is coded with "Christmas" as the genre. My ver1 tag is empty (apparently, from what I've researched, ver1 tags allowed genre's only from a specific list).

In doing some research, I saw that in your Version 3.0 history on the wiki you indicated:

Genre is now extracted from the track.

So, I'm guessing that this is why I am not getting the genres from the ID3 tag. However that's somewhat confusing to me because my previously installed version was not less than v3.3. In any event, if that's the case, this ends up being a bad feature for me (while I'm sure that it is an enhancement to others).

Can you advise why you did this? Could I recommend that you make reading the genre from the "Tag" or the "Track" a configurable setting along with possibly even giving those that wish to read from the "Tag" the option of reading from the ver1 or ver2 tags?
