Windows is doing this stupid thing -- every time postprocessing.bat is called, a window pops up, asking if I REALLY want to run postprocessing.bat, because the publisher may not have been verified. Is there a way to get rid of this? It only started doing it recently.

Thanks

Uncheck the box on the bottom of that window that says something to the effect of "ask me everytime".

Go to Services under Admin Tools and disable the Security Center service. Make sure you stop it first then disable it.

Have you changed and policies or security settings?

Never experienced this, but you could try the following:

Go Start>Run then type 'gpedit.msc' (without the quotes) and OK

In the window that opens:
User Configuration -> AdministrativeTemplates -> Windows Components -> Attachment Manager -> Inclusion list for low file types

Double click to enter properties

Set Enabled

Enter .bat & .cmd
