Since there are as of yet no drivers for the Haupaugge IR Blaster that will work with my Directv D11 box and there's not a way that I feel confident won't be incredibly frustrating yet to use the USB port on the back of this box. Can someone suggest a good IR Blaster that could be programmed to work with this box using my current directv remote. I am currently simply making manual recordings and using them in junction with the autotune feature on the box. It would be nice to be able to use the full functionality on this. Thanks.

the usb-uirt would work. But doesn't the latest version of hauppauge blaster software contain some learning function that you could try first? Or have I misunderstood that?

I can't see that it does if I'm wrong please correct me but I've been through the config on it and haven't seen anything like that.

This thread claims that it does, that's what I had seen and why I thought so. Whether it's true or not, I have no idea. You'd have to try for yourself.
