Question for Raven or anyone about My Videos RC3

Raven, or anyone who may know better than I (which is all of you)...

Why when I install My Videos 5 RC3 does it not show up in the application? I make sure I install, go into the config, set up the correct location of the db, and have a directory setup, and it never appears in the application. I also make sure the advisor skin I have has the 3 different and necessary skin folders. Ive tried to switch to blue skin without luck either. And I know Blue also has the skins. Oh and I use the latest Ultra dll file (the one that does the metadata stuff, but I dont remember the name), but I know it now users the newest version.

Any thoughts? I love the My Video plugin and would love to have it again on the newest GBPVR. Do I need to add 'MY VIDEOS' into the VIDEOPLUGIN in CONFIG.XML like I do for the volume plugin?

You don;t need to add MyVideos to the VideoPlugins list; they are a differnt thing. If you post your gbpvr.exe.log file there should be error messages in it describing what the problem is.

Also, for future refernece, it is Reven, and Raven (i.e. not the bird) :-)

Advisor does not support the latest versions of the My Series plugins.
Also, Reven preferrs to have support issues posted on his forums.

I prefer here to air the questions where the biggest audiance may view it. I have no visable errors, but will check the log and post if I see any. Also, I have tired Blue, with no avail. Sorry, Reven, for the mangling of the handle and posting here and not your forum.

Not a problem with posting here per se, just Reven has stated that he might not see posts here. Post you logs and we can have a look.

I see no errors, on a complete clean install, i put weather, volume, tv listings, themesmanager, and MyvideosRC3 on. Under Blue Skin, it does not appear... what logs do would you want to see?

List the files in your devnz\gbpvr\plugins directory.

Weather has an installer, so does MyVideosRC3. They should show up if you ran the installer programs.

Do the plugins show up in the config utility?

ThemesManager only works with the Advisor skin, not blue.

Post config.exe.log and gbpvr.exe.log

Re-read... The MY VIDEOS does not appear in the MAIN menu. It appears in my Config. And I have thememanager and Advisor skin, but I am in BLUE skin.

Just a stupid question to ask, is My Videos checked in the plugin tab in the Config program? If so, could it be off screen and you have to scroll down to see it? Sorry for the dumb questions, but they seem to be common mistakes with people, so just eliminating the obvious.
