After upgrading to a new TV-set I found that i needed to give my xvid's a few more bits to get good quality (mainly blocking artifacts became visible). This caused the size of files to increase and I now found out that files bigger than 1 gb do not play in any directshow based player (they do play in the divx player). The fiels were transcoded with mencoder and xvid codec.
Graphedit gives this error:
The graph could not change state.
The file format is invalid (return code 0x8004022f).
This happens for every file over 1.064.000 KB.
Any ideas?
