MVP window problems

I have had a hunt for similar problems but can't find any reports. The 98.8 ver seems to be no problem on the computer but I get strange problems on the MVP with the new dongle. When initiating the playing of videos and recordings the lower screen flashes solid green then goes back to the 'select' screen. If I re-select the vid/recording I briefly get green in the lower left small window and the vid then plays in this small window.

In addition, the above small window shows through photos displayed with std Photo Lib.

Looking at the gbpvr.exe log I see this:-

Is this relevant?

Weird if I am the only one with this prob! The install seemed to go w/o a hitch and the config settings all look as they were before.

A brief display solid green is pretty normal, and just seems to be Hauppauge not clearing some video memory or something similar before displaying the video. I dont have any control over this, so I suspect people will just have to learn to live with it.

The returning to the select screen doesnt, and video starting in small window doesnt sound right though. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

If the video window bothers you, setting <UseVideoInset>false</UseVideoInset> in config.xml will disable. This wont help the green thing though.

Thanks sub. Some more info. After a mvp restart it is OK till the Menu button is pressed while a vid is playing. It then displays the vid in the rt hand window and everytime after this I get the problem. Pressing the Exit button is OK but only before pressing the Menu button.

Logs attached. Starts after a mvp reset. GBPVR.exe.log - 'Coro St' plays twice OK (Exit key used). 'Dragons Den' is exited with the Menu key. Small windows start, as does problem. 'Egypt' evidences problem as described in previous post.

Did you get a chance to check out the video window in every photo, sub?
