Ok, I've been struggling with this and finally broke down to post on the forums. The longer I watch LiveTV, the more the audio is delayed. Recordings seem to be fine (I haven't tested this thoroughly) but LiveTV is definitely an issue.

After extensive testing, I'm just convinced its the FFDSHOW audio decoder. I'm using the latest Realtek HD 1.46 drivers & running the latest DHZer0point drivers. PureVideo is enabled for the video decoder. I'm only using S/PDIF output and have FFDSHOW output AC3 (Bitrate:224) with the mixer set so I can use the center channel and back channels (this is rather important). I've tried to use the PureVideo audio decoder and it didn't seem to have the issue (however I'm still testing this). In the control panel of the Realtek drivers I have it outputting @ 48kHz. I've read everything and tried everything; as you can tell its been very frusterating. I've attached a summary of the Nero InfoTool. All I can think is that the Realtek soundcard might be the issue???

Any help would be sincerely appreciated! Thanks!

What video capture card are you using, and what do you have the deinterlacing set to on the misc tab of the config app?

Per your recommendation;
PVR150MCE & encoder pass-through

Ok, its not what I was thinking of. The Hauppauge devices have to be used with encoder pass-through or they start to drift like you describe.

Ah, drift...exactly.

No virus scanner & clean XP pro install. Ideas?

Honestly, I dont know. Maybe ffdshow causing it? Try disabling it, then double check its not being used by looking at the filter list in gbpvr.exe-native.log.

If I use the NVIDIA audio decoder things seem to stay sync'ed. So its between FFDSHOW/PVR150MCE/GBPVR
