Can someone post a picture of how they use .my files (and mp3 playlists too) in gbpvr? I've struggled with .my files and haven't ever looked at playlists - what tools create them?

Cheers,
Andy

Winamp (and heaps of other programs) produces .m3u playlists. The file format is pretty simple.

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:111,3rd Bass - Al z A-B-Cee z
mp3/3rd Bass/3rd bass - Al z A-B-Cee z.mp3
#EXTINF:462,Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathy´s song (VNV Nation rmx)
mp3/Apoptygma Berzerk/Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathy's Song (Victoria Mix by VNV Nation).mp3
#EXTINF:394,Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathy's Song
mp3/Apoptygma Berzerk/Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathy's Song.mp3
#EXTINF:307,Apoptygma Bezerk - Starsign
mp3/Apoptygma Berzerk/Apoptygma Berzerk - Starsign.mp3
#EXTINF:282,Various_Artists - Butthole Surfers: They Came In
mp3/Butthole_Surfers-They_Came_In.mp3

Here is a snippet of one. It starts with the header line, then has optional comments followed by the path to the music file.

When you're playing a playlist in GB-PVR, you can use the skip forward/back buttons to jump between tracks in the playlist.

Okay, I've downloaded WinAmp, and created a playlist and gone into gbpvr and clicked on it - I get music, but can't see the contents of the playlist.. also the default generation of the playlist caused a crash in gbpvr - the format of the file was as follows:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:247,Sheryl Crow - My Favorite Mistake
\Music\Sheryl Crow\The Globe Sessions [UK]\01 My Favorite Mistake.mp3
#EXTINF:301,Sheryl Crow - There Goes The Neighborhood
\Music\Sheryl Crow\The Globe Sessions [UK]\02 There Goes The Neighborhood.mp3

Once I added F: to the file lines, it worked okay.   Error message was:

09/01/2004 19:38:42.187 ERROR [2] Error: msg=0x202 (WM_LBUTTONUP) hwnd=0x2601fa wparam=0x0

It should use dos name convention dir\dir.

Absolute paths (eg c:\test\test.mp3) should work. Relative paths should work (eg relativedir\test.mp3). v0.0.9 will also fix the problem pointed out by Andy, when starts with \ but has no drive letter before it.
