I have been trying for a while to use a .my metadata file for videofiles.

I have looked through the forum and through myhtpc but cant quite work out why it dosent work.

Should the .my file be in the video folder or somewhere else?

I have been naming the files metadata.my but should it be called something else?

Thanks in advance for any help

To tell the truth, I though no one was using the .my support in GB-PVR. Its been in there for months and no one has asked about it for months, so I just removed it from the v0.18 release a few days ago. It was getting in the way something else.

Ok , at least I know it wasnt me being stupid!

I am really just wanting to use GB-PVR as a easy to use, good looking front end for playing video files on my daughters computer, possibly adding tv at a later date.

Is this something that is likely to return, or if not, is it possible to download an earlier release where this was present?

Thanks

Ive opened my eyes and found where the old downloads are (Dont you just hate Newbies coming along asking thick questions)

Ive installed 0.17 and hey presto my .my file does the job.

Since it seems like its only me using this then I suppose there isnt much chance of it making it back in to the latest release.

Just wanted to say that I have spent a bit more time playing around with this and Ive decided im quite happy creating thumbnail pictures in the form filename.mpg.jpg

So I probably wont use the .my files after all

Thanks for the help anyway.
