Image Quality Problems

I just set up a system with a hauppauge 350, my comp is running xp, amd 64 3000 and 1 gb ram. My problem is that on the 3 tv's in my house all the channels look fine. On my computer however I get a lot of snow and the higher channels such as 60+ look terrible. I have bought good cable and a bidirectional rca amp at best buy but it still does not look great. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Where do you have the amp? - Should be as close to the aerial/source as possible...

Check your connections & cables, avoid running next to mains cables - cross them at right angles if you have to

My amp is where the cable comes into my house before a 4 way splitter. 3 to tvs and 1 to my comp.
