About every 10 seconds my GBPVRrecordingservice.exe jumps to about 100% cpu, even though it's not recording anything?

I'm running it on an updated windows 2k3 advanced server (or is it enterprise), using a p4 2.4ghz with some 512mb ram and a pvr-150mce.

Is this normal behaviour? I just updated to the last version this weekend but noticed the high cpu time just now. It jumps up and down every 10 seconds.

zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Do you have IE7 installed?

As I said above, zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Does it still do it if you disable the built in web server?

No that cures the problem, only it leaves me without the webserver ;-)

Any idea what caused it?

I seem to remember some users had this problem a while back, but I cant remember the exact reason or fix. You could try finding that discussion using the forum search.

Alternatively, UncleJohnsBand might remember what the cause was. Try posting the question in the Enhanced Web Admin thread in the developers forum so he sees it.

I had the problem and it turned out to be a couple of files in the web\bin directory. Just remove gbweb.dll and gbweb.pdb.
