After many hours of reading and troubleshooting, I am pretty certain that GPBVRRecordingService does not release the mdapifilter dll after finishing a recording.
I have the Mdapifilter 2.2 version running with Emunation and GBPVR 1.2.13 and a TwinHan 102g DVB-S Card . I also have an Analog PVR350 capture card.
If Have unchecked the Record out of Process and Reuse Filter flags. Only have checked "Enable MultiDec"
I have registered the mdapifilter.ax on gbpvr folder and run the re-registerfilters.bat. Basically what happens is that If I have two consecutive recordings only the first one is recorded. The second one basically starts as a 0 file size recording.
Also if using Live Preview, If I change channel to an analog channel and change back to digital using the mdiapifilter, the same happens.
The only way that I can record or preview these channels is by restarting the gbpvrrecordingservice between recordings.
I have also tried the old 1.6 version of mdapifilter but I cannot get anything going, even with the "Reuse MDAPIFilter Flag" on the confg app checked.
