Last week I switched multiplexer from DVR-MS to CyberLink as I discovered this would generate .MPG files. Everything appeared to be fine but over the last couple of days the recording service has crashed repeatedly.

I've attached the logs in the hope someone can tell me how to fix this. For the moment I've switched back to DVR-MS in the hope that it will restore reliability to my system.

Hi,
I've not looked at your logs, not that I'd probably understand them, but I'm currently having a similar issue with the Cyberlink mux and it is very frustrating. Trying all sorts of different ones now, in the hope that a newer version will sort it. However, now I have the problem of frankly rubbish recording quality.

I'll let you know how I get on...

What version of the Cyberlink mux are you using? We used to see crashes with something like 5.0.8xx?

Actually, I think that was the version I was thinking of. I remembered it was down in the hundreds. Newer versions like v5.0.0.1307 seemed to do away with that crash reported with earlier versions.

Your memory is excellent. Just checked mine and it is:-
FILE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mpgmux1307.ax VERSION: 5.0.1307
and it runs with no problems (for years).

Here is a location (follow link in first post) http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25630

Dowloaded v5.0.0.1307. I'll see how I get on.
