Video library - preview mode

I normally use Reven's My Videos, but I'm in the process of upgrading to the latest version and will have to fall back on Video Library for the time being due to skinning issues.

In the default Music Library plugin, there are the usual icon/list/preview modes - and some of my album covers are displayed automatically without me actually having downloaded or done anything. Does the Video Library plugin have similar capabilities? what can I do to see cover art in icon and preview modes?

Folders will show artwork if a folder.jpg/png or default.jpg/png file exists in the that folder.

Music files will show art work if a file of the same name with extension .jpg/.gif/.png exists. ie, somesong.mp3 will show art if somesong.jpg exists.
