This is all i get when trying to watch live tv on a client i've set up. I can see the EPG no probs. Tried disabling firewalls! Tried using a different muxer! Where could i be going wrong? Do i need to unregister GBPVRParser.ax? My gbpvr folder is shared and the client points to it! Does it work with the cyberlink muxer? Using the MS one defeats the object of me using this software (would like to re-encode) so if not will there be support in the future?

Which logs do you need to see?

TIA Smile

PS: Using latest .98.08b, default plugins decided to attach all logs

I've got the same problem, tried the same things and, as far as I can see, pretty much the same logs. Seems to try to read the buffered file for a bit then, finding nothing coming, drops back to the interface.

Attached my logs as well to see if some eagle-eyed soul can spot the common problem and possibly suggest a 'oh yes, you both forgot to check the blah blah something box'-type of fix.

Not just me then, which points to it being gbpvr and probably not our set-ups unless we're both a pair of numpties (probably- at least in my case)! Big Grin

Zip and attach your client logs and I'll take a look. You've only supplied the logs for the server.

Yes it does. With the Cyberlink mux you can use either the File Sharing mode or the Streaming mode. If you record using the DVR-MS mux option, then you are limited to using the File Sharing model.

Ignoring GB-PVR for a minute, if you copy a DVR-MS file onto you client machine, can you play it in Windows Media Player?

It looks like your firewall is getting in the way.

If you try to schedule a recording from the client's tv guide, does it result in an error message also?

Nope recording is schelduled, and can be seen in the pending window on the server!

Pretty sure it's not a connection prob as the 'little blue light' are on constantly in the taskbar for the connection in use!

Also i've tried disabling both firewalls on each machine!

Yup. And if I open it locally or across the network from Video Library, it plays fine in GB-PVR as well.

Out of interest, I tried scheduling a recording and didn't get an error message but the program didn't get scheduled.

I've attached the logs from the server, too. In case that helps. There are no firewalls between Client and Server.
