binding keys to remote control keys

I have an MX-500 Remote and I was wondering if it's possible to bind new skip commands to the lcd screen, I.E. I have skip in 10sec. increments foreword and backward and skip in 30 and 60sec. increments but I would like to add a 3rd skip say in 5sec. increments and bind it to the lcd screen buttons......possible?

No, there is no functionality for adding additional skip steps of different sizes.
