Hi,
I'm still having problems with the gbpvr window not filling the entire screen. There is still an empty band above the window. I've tried windowed mode on and off, used the -noframe commandline switch, and even tried to put the window on a specific position with the -pos switch. Nothing worked. In every case the empty band above the window remained...

It's not a huge issue, but would be nice to have solved.

I dont think the problem is widespread. I know you have it, and I think its been mentioned by one other user.

Can you send me a screenshot, to remind me what it looked like?

Do you have any special desktop control tools install? Virtual desktops etc?

Sub,
Hopefully the two attachments show the screenprints. As far as I know there are no special desktop tools running. The clock show in clocX, very nice. And with that clock on or of makes no difference. The first one is with windowed mode off, the second one is in windowed mode and started with -noframe.

Here's the second screenprint.

I have the exact same problem, as exampled in the second image above. Using the -noframe switch(because I hope to use this software showing in the bottom-right corner of my desktop without covering up more than necessary) simply makes the icons in that window's title bar dissappear, but the title bar remains. The text in the task bar placeholder also disappears, and I lose the right-click menu on it. On top of that, I loose the ability to resize the window. Anyone ever sort this out? I'm using a Toshiba 5205-S119 with Toshiba hotkey software running, but no desktop enhancements(or anything else that tries to "trick" Windows). Thanks!

Actually, it's not the same problem. Mabo had a bizarre problem that fullscreen mode would leave a small a gap at the top of the screen.

Yes, this what I expect it to do.

No, it was never sorted out. It was kind of left in a half done state, and I have no plans to revisit it. When I started looking at it, I realised there were several unexpected complications (like the Hauppauge remote wont work with it etc), so I decided it wasnt worth completing.

OK, thanks... It's not that big of a deal, compared to how good your software is.... Maybe I'll try something with the positioning(and sizing?) command line switches, and maybe move it up to the top-right corner... [Image: smile.gif] Thanks again...

Sorry to resurrect this, but I just set up the -noframe option and positioned the window properly and my Hauppauge remote no longer controls the interface. Is this what you were referring to here? I'm using v0.91.8

Thanks,
Will

Yes this is the expected behaviour. The hauppauge IR application sends keystrokes to the applications based on the window title. No title bar, no keystrokes.

You may be able to find a way to alter irremote.ini to send the keystrokes even without a titlebar. I'm sure its possible, but its not something I've investigated.

Thanks for the tip sub. Looked into the config file and put GBPVR as the default application. Works absolutely fine now. (I'm not wanting to use the remote for anything else, so not worried about possible conflicts).
