I installed Reclock and it works excellent on one of my testrigs, but not on the other and not on my main htpc. The testrig where is does not work has onboard "Realtec High Definition Audio", the htpc has a Soundblaster X-Fi. Anything I should be aware of? I'm running W7x64 on all computers. I'v also tried the various alternatives in configuration->PCM and Devices to use, with no luck.

Can you define what you mean by "not work", ie, what's not working?

Sorry, forgot to say that I get no sound when using Reclock.

Is this with NPVR?

- Try disabling all audio decoders bar one to begin with?
- Is Reclock loading?
- If so, is it listing any audio in its tray app?

Yep, if I have only MPEG1 audio enabled I get sound, if I enable any of the other decoders the sound disappares. However, sound and picture is not in sync.

Same problem I have then (with NPVR; GBPVR is fine). I think it's something to do with multiple audio filters in the graph. Reclock only seems to work with the first (?) one it comes across.

That's bad news.... On my other testrig, there's also a "Realtec High Definition Audio" but it apparently has a different driver since it is listed as just "High Definition Audio" with Microsoft as vendor in Device Manager, and on that computer Reclock works with all decoders enabled.

That's maybe slightly encouraging then.

For me, it's used with an ATI 4550, with the ATI HDMI drivers. I can't check just now, but it's probably something like "ATI High Definition Audio" that appears.

Btw, what does the different colors of Reclock's tray icon mean?

Green = all good; you're either running at the same refresh rate as the video, or Reclock has been able to speed up/slow down (by the % amounts you've allowed) the video to match.
Yellow = Reclock can't adjust the video to match the refresh rate, eg 23.796fps with an allowed 1% speedup will never give you green at 50hz (but 5% speed up will).
Red = not working
Flashing between red/green = Reclock is "getting used" to the current refresh rate, and is learning what tweaks are needed to the clocks to get things perfect (at which point the icon will turn solid green)
