Hope this hasn't been addressed before.
I've had some success recording HDTV with the Air2PC (HD5000) card, using BDA drivers that the company provided to me. Using the cyberlink mux that comes along with AutoDVRConvert1.3 didn't seem to work too well (a lot of broken frames), so I settled for recording using dvr-ms mux and then using the "transcode to mpeg2" option manually on recordings I want to archive.
The recordings play back great from the dvr-ms file. However, when I select the option from the "my videos" plugin to transcode to mpeg2, the transcoding starts, but stalls out after about 20MB. After that, the CPU is pinned at 100% until I end the process from task manager. I tried using the graphedit method also, and the behavior is the same.
Anybody seen this?
System:
AMD Sempron 2400+, ECS Nforce2 mobo, 1 GB RAM
Geforce 6200
Hauppauge PVR 250
Air2PC (Technisat, HD5000)
Windows XP SP2
GBPVR 98.13 and patches
Thanks
