Divx4 avi won't play

Anyone got any ideas on what's causing this problem:

I have a file encoded in Divx4 format (odd I know). For some reason it will not play back within GB-PVR - I get a black screen but the audio plays fine. Within MP10 or Graphedit or anything else it plays just fine, so I know the correct filters are installed.

From reading extensively on the forum I know sub's response is that GB-PVR doesn't handle playback itself only passes this over to directshow, which is what's strange about this. Surely if graphedit/gspot etc all say the right filter is installed and can play the file then so should GB-PVR?

zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look what decoders etc are being used.

Typical, just after I posted I managed to fix it myself. In the unlikely event this helps anyone else - it was the bug whereby you get a black screen using overlay unless you hit F7 a few times.

I'd just upgraded to the latest version of GB-PVR and this had reset my hauppauge remote settings so the button mapped to F7 had changed - hence I thought I was pressing it to overcome this when I wasn't!
