decoder/encdoer softwarerecoder plugin help

hi all,
I have the Happauge TV to go (not pVR)
i installed the software recorder plug in.
I can't get the recording to work.
i installed the LEAD encoder/decoder and it didn't help.
i installed the windows decoder utility and tried to change the defult decoder and it didn't helped.
What else do i need to do???
I installed the sagetv and it works...

Sorry, I dont provide any support for the software recorder plugin. This plugin wasnt written by me, so I'm not at all familiar with it. I've never even downloaded it to try it.

Unfortunately the original author of this plugin is no longer here either.

GB-PVR only officially supports cards like the Hauppauge PVR150 etc, with built in hardware MPEG2 encoder.
