Sound but no vidio

I had everything working but then put in a new hard drive and had to reinstall everything. I installed windows, then the Hauppauge PVR150 drivers, then GBPVR. Then I tried to see if i could use it and I heard the station but with no vidio. I have tried changing the VMR9 to VMR9 Custome Renderer and then to VMR7 but none of them work. The VMR9 Custom Renderer shows lines with sounds. The VMR9 and VMR7 play the audio with a black screen. Can any one please help me?

Can you play a recording with regular media player?

I take it this only happens with recorded stuff and not any other type of videos?

And when reinstalling the hauppauge software did you install the hauppauge codec??

Did you install an MPEG2 decoder? One comes with the Hauppauge WinTV software.

I installed the hauppauge decoder and now the video seems to be working. Now the audio is slightly off in the recordings and in Live TV.

Did you configure it specific select a video and audio decoder? I'd recommend this, rather than relying on system default. Try whatever options you have listed there, and I'm sure you'll find a set that are correctly in sync.

Thank you for your help. I changed the setting from VMR9 Custom Renderer to just VMR9.
