Net Radio Station, Genre, Song

I know this was discussed in earlier threads, but I have not been able to resolve the Visualizations or Station, Genre, Song issue....

I don't really care about the visualizations, but would like to see the other info (Station, Genre, Song ) . After making the suggested changes in the config.xml file I get "Failed to connect" when using Net Radio....

To date, the only way I get the radio to work is with Visualization and not the other info...

Please advise what log you may need to see

PS if you set the usewindowsmediaplayerforaudio to false, what program will GBPVR use??

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

It doesnt use a program as such - it uses the Directshow components installed on your machine.
