forum down yesterday?

Was it just me or did the forum (access) suck yesterday?

I couldn't get through all day. (Main site either.)

Yeah, it was up and down a couple of times yesterday. I rebooted the server overnight and it seems to be fine now.

Actually, I think I was possibly a victim of this: http://securitywatch.eweek.com/exploits_...ttack.html, which may explain why I couldnt see anything wrong on the server at the time. I do use the everydns service discussed.

funny, the first time that i would have needed a fast response from the forum to resolve some nasty problem i found it offline :eek:

thanks to googles almighty caching (finally i found a good use for that feature ) it's a least possible to search the forum if offline (regardless of cause, i'm yet to see the general web working & google not)

just do your search directly in google using your search words like the following:
show signal strength site:forums.gbpvr.com
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=sho....gbpvr.com

sub, i hope you don't have anything against that creative misuse of google, if so, just delete my posting

I think you might be right. Definetly a DNS problem of some description.

Still happening at the moment.
