Cable Box

I am new to this and looking for some help. I have installed the software and have running but I need it to do more for me. Right now I am using a cheap Kworld card but it does work.

Our cable is provided by Consolidated Communications over our telephone line. It comes into a cable box or what they call a digital gateway that is made by Entone. The cable box suports 3 tv's by sending coax to a spliter and then each tv has a certain channel it must be on, 10, 12 or 23. Each TV or channel I guess has it's own remote.

Do you think i could get this to work with a TV card? How would I go about getting it to change channels on it's own?

It depends on the set top box whether this is possible or not. If it uses a regular ir remote for each of the three TVs it controls, then a regular IR blaster should do the job. If it uses some RF solution, then unfortunately you might be out of luck.

I think it might be RF. I guess it would have to be for it to work in other rooms.

That kind of puts everthing on hold.
