configuring gbpvr

Hi all hope that you can help me . I have managed to get the program downloaded and onmto the conputer without too much trouble . Iam using xp proffesional 512mb of ram and a1,2 amd athlon proceesor with hauppage usb pvr2.
when i try to conifure i get the following
sq lite error no such table custom task settings
hope you can help thanks in advance

Its something that happens for a small number of people immediately after install. I think it relates to manually starting GB-PVR before the config app manages to start automatically at the end of the install.

Just overwrite gbpvr.db3 with a copy of empty.db3 and you should be good to go.

Hmm.... I got the same error when I did a fresh install of 98.13 on an xp machine. Then I tried 98.8 and same thing happened. I ended up starting with a much older version and upgrade.

Later I tried a fresh install of 98.13 on a diffrerent XP machine and didn't get the error at all.

Sub, could you add the fix to your survival guide? Thanks.

have tried taking gbpvr off then downloading a fresh copy and still get the same problem plase help

Might be worth un-installing, deleting the c:/program files/devnz/gbpvr folder and then re-installing.

If the error is still the sqlite error no such table custom task settings message, then you can fix as I described above, by overwriting gbpvr.db3 with a copy of empty.db3.
