Error: Object Recefence not set to an instance of an object

I get the error:
Error: Object Reference not set to an instance of an object.

All was running reasonably well until I upgraded to 0.98.13b. The error happens when I try to watch a currently recording show. A clue: this error does not occur until I move the mouse. BTW I'm running without any skins.
