Hi,

Can anyone advise what needs to be changed in order for the play-back of recorded programs to work where a change in directory for recording/playback has been made?.

Basically whilst clicking on 'play program' or 'download' whilst in http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/Manage.aspx the file thats being referred to is on a drive/directory that has been changed to another drive/directory in GB-PVR set-up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

GBPVR, by default removes program information for programs it can't find. So if you move them they become "invisible".
There is a program called MPEGIMPORT at http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/MpegImport that was designed to find all recordings and create an XML file that could be imported by GBPVR config program. It should do the trick for you.

Rather than install the latest release over the last one I decided to start afresh but have lost the old recordings.

They are still in the original folder but not being recognised.

I have run mpegimport and saved the result to:

C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\recording-dump.xml

but am still not finding the files. Should the .xml file be renamed?

Did you click the 'import recordings' button in the config app and select that file?

Thank you again
